Thank you for your interest in the Winchester Public School’s Preschool Program. Our preschool classrooms are located at the Lynch Elementary School. For the 2012-2013 school year, we are offering three program options:

Full Day Programs for 3-4 year olds and 4-5 year olds, M – F 8:45 – 2:15pm,
Morning Programs for 3-4 year olds and 4-5 year olds, M – F 8:45 – 11:15am, and
An Afternoon Program for 3-5 year olds, M – F 12:15 – 2:45pm

Please note that our current 2011-2012 tuition rates are under review and may be increased. This info will be available on January 11th, 2012.

Our process is as follows:

Our returning students will be placed in their programs first for the 2012-2013 school year, as well as siblings of “current students”.

From Wednesday, January 11th until noon Friday January 27th we are accepting applications for new students. A non-refundable application fee of $50 is required.

On Monday January 30th we will hold a lottery for new students to fill available slots in all programs as well as to determine the order of the waiting list.

Families will be notified within 24 hours of their acceptance into the program or their order on the waiting list. Children accepted into the program will be mailed a registration packet.

By Monday March 5th, the completed registration packet along with a copy of the child’s birth certificate and one month’s deposit (September tuition) is due in order to maintain the child’s position within the program. If we do not receive these items, your child’s spot will be given to the first name on the waiting list. Tuition assistance is available for qualifying families. Over the summer months, families will receive additional information including; their teacher’s name, school calendar, and tuition payment dates.

Families of children on the wait list are welcome to call at any time to receive updated information regarding their child’s spot on the wait list.
